Based in Italy, Giulia holds an MA in International Comparative Relations from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia. She is a Research Analyst at the Africa Center for Strategic Progress and The Washington Kurdish Institute, and a freelance contributor at Istituto Analisi Relazioni Internazionali (IARI) and Il Caffè Geopolitico, focusing on the Middle East.
